temp is in high 80s. I did increase the bubble rate and I also put the solenoid thing on the light timer. so i increased the bubbles but that was during lights-on. also, put lights on in morning so any co2 would be gone by night.
But fish still gasping; snails at top of tank and 2 discus and black neons and white clouds and platties gasping for air. not catfish.
started air hose at night but forgot last night. Lost 5 white clouds and 3 black neons today. bummer : ( white clouds were really cool
Lower the temp ASAP. Dissolved oxygen will be too low when the water is that warm. It's not surprising that White Clouds were the 1st to go since they are a cool water species. Even the Discus won't like it that warm. Increasing CO2 just escalated the problem. If you get the temp down to 85 or so you can use some CO2, but be careful not to OD.
