Hey everyone,
Someone here at work needs some plant material from the family Cyperaceae to culture a fungus particular to that family. A small donation of Eleocharis (hairgrass), Cyperus or Egleria would be great. Don't need much, but prefer it be clean. I'll be at the meeting. Thanks!

Re: Cyperaceae needed for science
I can bring some Cyperus Helferi and some Eleocharis "sprouts through the tips of the leaves" (if that is even Eleocharis ) .
Re: Cyperaceae needed for science
Excellent, thank you. I'll let them know. Probably only need a few leaves, but I'll ask.

I have some Eleocharis radicans in one of my tanks. Would you be interested in a sample of it?

A little, yes. I think the Cyperus is probably the most desirable for the purpose, but if I offer her a little of everything, that might be best. Really only need leaves and not even the whole plants.
Thanks guys.
