I had a great time... Thanks, Paul for being a great host--fun to see your tanks too! I completely re-planted my tank last night, whew! As usual, I ended up with way too many plants--and a surprise stem plant that I'll have to photograph later for an id (I like it a lot, but neither Rick nor I recognize it).

HEY, all you people that raised your hand saying you were coming to Aquafest, have you registered yet???

We have vendors and sponsors asking about registration numbers, help us answer them correctly! Thanks, and let us know if you have any questions.

It was a nice meeting, my first. I just registered for aquafest2009, I will be attending on Sunday only, the auction and Pizza fest.

You're welcome. I enjoyed hosting our meeting and I thought Kris's discussion was very interesting. I have to say, the thing I like most about our group is that we have such a nice bunch of people. It was really a pleasure having you all.

Paul thanks for Hosting, that was a great setting to hold a meeting.

I just want to say the one thing I hope everyone got from that meeting is that no matter how you want to set up your planted tank, there are multiple people in the club that can help you do it the way you choose to go. There is no one right way to do it.

And there, I think, is what causes so much stress and confusion for those of us that are still learning. But that's also what makes this club so great, as Sean mentions - if you're wondering whether a given approach might work, ask, because someone in the club will have tried that, and you can leverage their experience.

And thanks to Jen for sharing her bounty of dwarf hairgrass. I planted it in my newly rescaped 29 gallon, and I can't wait to see what it looks like once it fills in!

Paul, thank you. You have a lovely home, family, and aquatic collection. It is always nice to go to GWAPA meetings, I wouldn't trade the friendly gathering feeling for anything. We're just going to have to recruit new members with mansions to house us all!
