Blue Shrimp

I bought a bag of mystery shrimp yesterday, 90% of them were dark blue, the others were clear. Once I released them, they all turned clear

This morning, I checked on them and now they are all red. Anyone have any idea what they might be?

I saw some of my cherry shrimp (1-2 ) that have a blue hue, just like your last picture.
My guess is : you bought a bunch of stressed cherry shrimp ( maybe some selectively bred for the blue variation ) and once they acclimated , their really color showed up.

It's a good thing they were cheap. I thought maybe I was getting something else for a steal
