I definitely want to go, but I'll have to be a maybe for now. I should be healed by then hopefully.

If we wait two weeks we could go to Plant Fest!

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up! ;)

I would like to point out that the dates selected had far more to do with the limited amount of vacation time some people (name rimes with from-a-far) receive. :)

Basically it helps to use the free day off for July 4th.

I do not think we need to leave Aaron at home remember it is always best to take along a water tester to determine the concentration of gators in a potential collecting location.

Remember its about the plants, driftwood, rocks, fish, and now nerite snails people.

Yeah unlike the Government Employees (read slackers), working in the
private sector (read sweat shop), we don't get many days off or comp time.
So the vacation days are carefully planned around holidays to maximize the
length of time I don't have to see my boss (insert sound of whip crack).

We have about three weeks before we need to solidfy the plans, reserve the
vehicle(s) etc.

Well, after some reflection, my mature side says it's too much too soon. I REALLY wanted to go though. Can we make collecting requests?

I suppose you'll have to do your own gator testing guys. I hear the best way is to wrap yourself in raw meat and just wade out and see what happens.

I still need to calculate if I have enough vacation time to do this, but was wondering on the cost.

Driftwood costs aside. What do you estimate the overall cost of the trip to be per person? (transportation, hotels, etc...)
