I just want to remind folks that there will *not* be an auction at the picnic, but I highly encourage folks to swap plants like Sam is proposing...

I can bring the following to the plant collecting meeting. (Sam, if you want something, it's free to you for some trident.)

Staurogyne sp. 'Bihar'-huge bag $3
Limnobium laevigatum (frogbit)-5 for $1 (I have a ton of this stuff growing outside in my ponds.)

And, no, I will not collect these plants at the lake before everyone arrives...

Spent some time at lake needwood today to prep for next week. Our picnic shelter has lots of shade and is to the right of the parking lot. There are bathrooms a short walk away and plenty of tables. There's several things for kids to do, a volleyball court if someone brings a ball, and lots of trails around the lake. For those interested in the plant tour, I would recommend wearing tennis shoes, as the trails are not strenuous, but do have some rocks/roots to walk over. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there!

I can also bring Hemianthus glomeratus; I will trim more than 50 stems that can be had for $3.
