I got a few shots of the open spathe. I haven't done that thing Ghazanfar does, where he dissects the spathe to show the inner structure, in part because I don't know how, and in part because I doubt my point and shoot could take decent macro shots of it anyway. So I'm just going to enjoy what I can see from the outside.

Has anyone who has this grown it submersed? If it retains this leaf shape submersed, I think it would have interesting aquascaping possibilities. My plant is almost as large as the one Ghazanfar describes dividing on a recent blog entry, so I'm thinking that in a couple of months I may divide it and put one of the divisions into a tank. It would be reassuring to know that someone else has succeeded at growing it submersed...
