You may want to call ahead. I don't know if Scales carries Amanos. I believe they're usually at Aquarium Depot, but again, call ahead.

I'm back from Kazakhstan and my schedule's free. I'll be there, and working to setup a 125 gallon planted, so I'll need lots of help and have some questions for you guys!

The half dozen I have have not been breeding so I want to expand my stock.

Ricks has bumblebees in Frederick.

They prefer basic water. Is your pH above 7.0?

No. I'll try raising the pH and see what happens. I might swing by a shop on the way home just to pick up a few more though.

Amanos are fine w/DNRs. DNRs do eat the young red cherries though - I nearly lost my colony from some fry that I ignored until they grew up, in part on a nice diet of grazing shrimp.

Jim, I still haven't mailed the Gibba but I have a nice clump for you.

I am looking for Marsilea minuta and drawf hairgrass if anyone has some. This would finish the front of my tank. I am really disappointed in my LFSs as I have been looking though many of them for decent hairgrass and pearl gouramis to no avail.

I also have just got an Aquacontroller from Neptune and am setting it up for automatic water change. It has been pretty easy to work with compared to the last controller I was using.

It will be good to see you all.

Thanks again for the GWAPA info. You helped me find Joe, one of the GWAPA members who gave me a ride to the last GWAPA meeting. He lives in Catonsville and said he might be going to the Feb GWAPA meeting. I am hoping to go to this next meeting with him. Would you please send this on to him. (I don't know his phone or forum name.)
