pluming advice: 3/8 PEX solid pipes

Post by eleontie »

I stopped by HomeDepot looking for some plumbing supplies. I was looking for some solid but thin tubing. I found the perfect solution 10 feet 3/8'' PEX that would work great. There is a downside : they carry no fittings. The smallest pipe diameter for which there are all sorts of fittings is 1/2'' - too big.

Any pluming guru among us ? I would take any recommendations for alternative solutions.

Lowes carries Pex fittings and Pex tubing which is pretty cheap.

I used it to plumb the water to my betta system.

They also carry fittings that allow you to transistion from 1/2" copper to 1/2" PVC or PEX.
