I'm interested in building a CO2 regulator - can anyone help

Post by sns26 »

Hi folks,

I'm new to the forum and hoping someone can help me figure out where to buy parts to build my own regulator. It's easy to pick up a basic cornelius or micromatic regulator and a cylinder from one of the beverage shops, but I'm wondering whether there is a single source for ordering the other parts--a good needle valve, solenoid, and brass fittings. I know that you can cobble it all together from various web sites, but by the time the shipping and handling is done it seems cheaper to buy something pre-built from Green Leaf, Sumo, or Rex Griggs.

Alternatively, if anyone has any of these parts left over from their own build project--particularly needle valves and solenoids--I'd be happy to take them off your hands.
