Hanging lights - GWAPA meeting demonstration recreated

So, I'm working on my 125 setup. Last year sometime Aaron (I believe) did a demonstration of hanging lighting using electrical conduit at Christi's house (again, I believe).

I opted to give it a whirl, and it didn't come out too bad at all.

The only issue I didn't foresee was making the lights hang level and even with one another. The weight of the power cords causes them to push to one side or another, and not just hang naturally. I can't zip-tie the cords hard in place, because that would take away the ability to easily raise and lower the lights. Any suggestions here? I can tolerate it the way it is, but would like to find an easy solution. I'm thinking velcro straps possibly.

I'm dealing with the power cord pull as well. Would love to hear how folks work through it.

I'm using stick on cable clips to give the cables a little slack and it keeps
the light level.

You did an excellent job. Really looks nice. It was Aaron who did the demo, I remember, it was my first meeting.

I was wondering if maybe you can use a velcro strap to hold the power cord. Like how it's used to hold an umbrella closed, or your pant leg from getting caught in a bycicle chain. That way it could be easily removed. May require a zip tie on the conduit and cord to prevent slippage.

Nice work Neilan. It was me who did the demo, but 'twas not my idea. I got the idea from another hobbyist in one of the California clubs.

My Tek light seems to hang pretty level, though I've had issues with some others that I built tilting as you are experiencing. I haven't come up with a solution yet, though I haven't really tried.

The velcro strips were the first thing that came to mind, and it sounds like you all agree. Gonna give that one a go and see, at least it's cheap if it doesn't work out.

I wouldnt be running those lights very long with just those plants in there. You need A LOT more plants! The hardscape on the right looks great, is that one big rock?
