Setting up a new 10G planted tank using T2 bulbs

Setting up a new 10G planted tank using T2 bulbs, anyone who has experience using T2 bulbs.
I am thinking of buying T2 (2 X 13Watt HO 6400K).

I've seen these used in refrigerator and freezers -- beyond that, I've never seen them used. The one thing I will tell you about them, though, is they are a PAIN to change. They're so thin ... It makes it very easy to snap them.

Have you considered LEDs? They have really come down in price and they have a much longer lifespan. Of all my bulb types, I like the LEDs the best. They also give a nice shimmer effect.

I think I need to look for LED which looks like a better option.

This one is on sale at AFA, it was $69 but is reduced to $59, it sounds pricey for a 10 gallon light at first but it will last for 5 to 7 years and never need new bulbs plus it's so sleek it disappears over the tank but it will only attach to a 1/2 inch or thinner glass so you may need to modify or get creative at the attachment point. I use a smaller model on my 2.5 g nano and it's great, perfect spectrum (8K), no heat, and gives my nice growth for $39 you can't go wrong.

That is a nice light and much less than what I paid for my CF fixture over my 11g tank. It looks a lot nicer too.
