So we have this 54g corner bowfront we got from Kris a few years ago, and which we are going to turn into a southwestern Australian carnivorous plant biotope. These plants live in full sun, so I need something really bright and roughly triangular, LOL. Any suggestions?
In a perfect world, I'd custom build a triangular LED fixture, but realistically, I'll never get around to it. I need something that won't generate too much heat (a little daytime warming is not bad, though), so T5HO is probably my best option. Any thoughts?

What about one of those LED pendants? You could use electrical conduit to suspend it.

Yeah, I was just looking at some of those online. I could easily build a hood that had three of them.

Or maybe we are taking about different things- I was looking at the LED fixtures that screw into standard light bulb sockets.

Very intriguing, Sean! Would you recommend the grow lights or the 6700k aquarium lights? I want my CPs to grow vigorously, of course, but I would like them to be pretty, too, and not just purple, LOL.SCMurphy wrote:Kessil LED pendant lights are what you want.
