Is $135 a good price for this fixture?
I was wondering whether this might be good as a "spotlight" in my 75g tank, to help some of the higher light plants I'm trying (downoi, blyxa japonica, and dwarf hair grass). That tank already has two dual-bulb 40W T12 shoplights with lousy reflectors, which will be fine for the crypts, moss, and java ferns, but probably not enough for the aforementioned foreground plants.
Any suggestions for alternative "spotlights" that could supplement the T12 shop lights? The cheaper, the better.
