E "aflame"

Post by Ben Belton »

or Purple Knight I think it was.

Wow... been a little while since there was a post here. These pics are over Photoshopped so you can see into the slightly opaque plastic of the flask. The plants are this dark though. I have 3 flasks of these growing. Now I need to figure out how to make more once these are grown up. I'm thinking if I plant one of these in a culture with BAP in the media, it should make multiple shoots from the mother. Maybe if I chop up the mother and plant the pieces of the crown. We'll see. Maybe they will just become salad.... not that I actually eat healthy green stuff.

GG.. any ideas?

Why chop up the mother and try to get a sterile culture going? You have 3 sterile cultures right there. Take one of the flasks and do the multiplication process. You'll be swimming in them.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up! ;)

I said I was going to do that. That will be my first thing to try.

The mother is dead. I'd have to chop up one of these.

You should be able to split the crown. I wouldn't go crazy and chop it into little pieces though.
