Apisto Borelli Babies!

Post by krisw »

I woke up this morning, and was going around feeding my fish. Since it's Saturday, I'm spending a little bit more time checking out each tank, and in the Apisto Borelli tank I have, with the new borelli from the group order, I see a female escorting a small little cloud of fry who are grazing on a big ball of java moss. I figured these Borelli to be too small to be breeding already, but I guess they've proved me wrong!

Anyone else have any fry yet?

Yeah... I'll do my best, but they're not being very accessible to the front of the tank. I've got a ton of rocks in this tank for caves, and I'm lucky to see an adult, let alone the babies.

Golly... Looks like one of the other females is escorting around her own group of babies. If these guys grow up, I hope someone's going to want borelli. :-)

Kris

If these grow up I definitely would love to give them a good home. I have plenty of options to offer them here. Awesome video clip.
