So the 3M product is now sold by Estes? As Ceramaquartz?

The 3M product isn't made anymore, but I think the Estes product is similar. I'm not sure where to buy it locally, though. I've looked into it several times in the past and always given up.

These guys should have what we're looking for. I think it's the same company that we used to get the 3M stuff from.

Interesting. I'm still rocking the same batch we did the group buy from like 7 years ago in my two 40 breeders! It's pretty much mush in the one at this point, which has prompted me to look into replacing it. Hmm.

I don't think the 3M is what turned into mush as it is inert.

It probably got mixed with the mineralized soil it is supposed to cap , other types of substrates. It probably is still there somewhere, still as strong as ever, just not clean and not on top as it was in the beginning.

The permaquartz stuff is supposedly the same, however the nearest distributor is in NJ or something like that.
