A quick question on moss

Hi there,

I have some of that moss from you guys that's a bit thicker and "fuzzier" than java moss, but can't remember what you called it. I'm planning to sell some, but want to label it correctly. What was it?

Most likely, it was Taiwan moss. Does it look like this?

If it was from that big bag that Cavan brought it was peacock moss. It should look like the Taiwan moss Kris linked to, but with thicker fronds.

Ive got tons of the Taiwan if you are interested. Its almost becoming a grass in my tank now. Its everywhere

.. so are some Riccia bits that are attaching everywhere I am thinking of tearing the tank down again to get rid of it.

I know this is an old post, almost 2 months old, but if you haven't gotten rid of all the Taiwan moss in your tank and are still offering it, then I'd be happy to take a few small patches of it. Let me know if you have any.

Second, don't be afraid to reopen posts that are of interest to you. I wish more people would do that instead of starting a new thread.

Third, sorry I don't have that particular moss so after making you read the previous stuff I can't reward you with the moss.

That moss is everywhere. I lost most of mine when I raised my tank temps to 84
for the discus but the way I may have a little bit available if you're unable to
find healthier stock from other members.

Not that big a deal just easier to know who we are dealing with. You can always make it your signature and that way it always adds it at the bottom of your posts.
