My 29 gallon

Here are a few shots of my 29 gallon, my first try at some sort of a scape

Suggestions welcome, there is a peice of driftwood in there that I may move to the right pointing towards the back. Start it near the base of the crypt on the right and go under the Limp. A

Wow! What a nice tank! The only suggestion I'd have would be to trim the three stems on the left hand side (looks like stellata), and maybe trim up the glosso a little bit. But, everything looks healthy, and it really does look great. My first impression on seeing it, was "Wow, nice looking tank."

Very impressive and inspiring! I'm just about to set up a 29 gallon myself. What kind of lighting, what kind of filter, what CO2 and what kind of substrate do you have in there? Also, if you don't mind too much, could you list your flora and fauna? I'm just curious because I like a lot of what you did and would imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

Why dont I just sell you the tank

Its a 65 watt PC, XP1 fiter, DIY CO2- 2 liter bottle and Hagen ladder, and Eco substrate. Lots of plants and rasboras, neons, white clouds, ottos, cherry shrimp that keep getting sucked into the filter and snails.

As far as trimming the glosso, can I just cut out the middle where it is real thick and let it fill in. Or should I remove all of it and and replant it again?

Oh... I didn't mean to remove the middle part where it's really thick. I was mainly meaning that there were a few stems that "appear" to be much farther above the rest of them. I would just cut those off to make it look more even. I'd definitely let the sides fill in as thick or thicker than the middle is now.

I believe that eventually, you'll probably have to thin out the whole thing when it get so thick that some portions die off due to lack of light, but I don't think that time is now.

What is the plant that is in your last picture? I (think) I have some of this and this is the only plant that is really struggling. It is doing well in my tank where there is more light, but failing big time where there is less light. I am assuming this is a really high light plant.?

That is limnophila aromatica. When comparing to yours look for the little barbs on each leaf, plus the pleasant smell that it gives off when you handle it.

OK thanks, this is my first attempt at growing glosso, the area where there are a few stems it is a little shaded and doesnt fill in as well, I think I am going to get some anubias for thoes areas and pull the glosso out. I believe Robert is bringing some to the next meeting.
