But still photos! Had some fun shooting these guys the other day, I guess its a moth, never seen a moth eat nectar before though. I couldnt really tell what they were doing until I looked at the pic on my PC pretty cool seeing then with there tongue in the plant then into their mouth.

I think it's probably a butterfly. Moths usually have feathery antennae, while butterflies have antennae with knobs on the end. I believe that moths usually rest with their wings open, while butterflies rest with them closed behind them. Moths are usually nocturnal, while butterflies are diurnal.

There are a few exceptions to those general rules, though.

Thanks, I found its a skipper butterfly. I was informed of that by the barbell antenna

It's a member of the "Skipper" family of butterflies. Could be a Little Glassywing Skipper Butterfly (Pompeius verna), but it's hard to tell without seeing the wing upper surfaces.

Beautiful shots of a brown skipper. Many moths feed on nectar too - especially night flying moths.
