Great shots man! The rasbora is sharp as can be. The ember tetra's eye looks a bit funny, maybe oversharpened or something? Regardless, I know how hard these are to focus in on, so fantastic job on both shots!

Thank you, the tetra is cropped a fair amount, it think its a little OOF

Jeff,

It look more like DOF rather then OOF problem. I'm not familiar with your body / lens setup but it looks like you locked the focus on the belly and with tight DOF, eye and tail will obviously be OOF. Taking couple steps back should eliminate that problem !

Jay the setup is a Canon XTi, and Canon 100mm macro. I think you are right, its not oof but do to the narrow dof. Ill remember to put a little more space between us next time! Thanks

For those of us unfamiliar with photography acronyms, OOF = out of focus and DOF = depth of field?
