RSS on "unread" posts
RSS on "unread" posts
Is there a way to have a RSS feed on the new forum posts (something like the "unread" posts link). I know this is not something strait-forward as the reader would have to know to authenticate into the forum... But I thought I should ask ... just in case someone figured it out already, or there is some functionality not yet activated :)
Unfortunately, there's no hidden RSS functionality, but you can be notified of any new posts in a particular forum category by clicking on the "Watch this forum for new posts" link at the bottom of each category's list of topics. If you do this for every category, you'll effectively be emailed anytime there's a new post on the forum. (This is what I do, and I love it)
