That looks like Staurogyne repens to me.marydotson wrote:Victor--Sorry, no clue about species. I just got it at the AGA auction where it was only labeled as "Staur" (I filled in the missing letters).
I'll show it around, maybe folks will know. It's a pretty little plant--low grower, dense leaves and, as stem plants go, a slow grower.
Here's a photo of the tank I'm trimming it from (from a week ago)--you can see it in the back left and one small bit in the center front.
By the way, if you want to see a bigger shot, it's linked off this page here (http://www.submergedblog.com/?p=173) in my blog (click to embiggen).
I have a standard strip light fixture for a 37 gallon tank. It is 28 1/4" wide. It just has the regular flourescent light that came with the tank. If you want it, let me know and I will bring it to the mtg.bussardnr wrote:Anyone have any old light fixtures sitting around? preferably in the 30-36" range

It was good seeing everyone today! I wasn't sure about how much I would benefit from the emersed discussion but with my algae outbreak affecting the anubias it was extremely useful. I'll be pulling my anubias and what's left of the bolbitis tomorrow to put in the domed "humidor" while working on fighting the algae in the tank.
I'm also looking forward to doing some rearranging of the existing plants and getting my new stems into the tank.
Good luck and hope to see everyone next month!
Jim
