Stream Assessment Field Demonstration

This is something that I got in an email and plan to attend.

Date: June 11, 2009
Time: 4:00â€”6:00 PM
Location: Tuscarora Creek Park, 425 Solitude Ct, Leesburg, VA

This is open to the public.

A field demonstration of stream assessment will be presented by
Versar, Inc and Biohabitats, Inc. Demonstrations will include: collection
of benthic macroinvertebrates, habitat assessment and
techniques on evaluating stream perenniality.
Bring your boots or hip waders. Rain or shine!
Open to the public.

Just show up. There was no mention of needing to reserve a place in any of the literature that I saw.

Hopefully someone else made it to this and can give us an update of how it was. I got caught up with work and wasnt able to get out of here today. Frustrating.
