Nice looking tank Sean. I've read through this post and it's nice to know I'm not the only one who doesn't fret about testing parameters. So what type of soil are you using for substrate? Just plain 'ole potting soil?

Yes, Gloria has a bunch of it growing in the show tank in the dry goods section. She clips it just like Ghazanfar said and sells them for about $2 a piece. Once in a while she'll have some of the plantlets available too.

I want to try this method w/ some baby rosette swords that I have. I thought about the saran wrap idea too. If you decide to do a bigger tank a lot of people just use plastic storage bins that you can pick up cheap at Walmart or some place like that. What are you using for light?

It could very well be the same plant. That's true, that's exactly how I've propogated it. It will send out runners once it gets bigger too.

I got some of this not too long ago from the Aquarium Center. Have any of you guys tried it out? I've been browsing the net, but can't find any info on it. So far it's doing well, and seems to require little care.
