I have ich in a quarantine tank (no substrate and no fish any more). How should I treat the plants (mostly java fern), and should I use something to clean the tank or just dump out all the water and fill it back up in a day or two?

I was not thinking about posting pictures, only posting the species names before the meeting, so we can research them.

It might be helpful to post what plants people are bringing to the auction to sell. This would give the rest of us a chance to research the plants that we are unfamiliar with before the monthly meeting. At the last meeting, it was helpful when Kris showed us pictures of the plants being auctioned.

They were forktails (Pseudomugil furcatus) in the 125. I managed to breed them and raised 10 successfully pretty easily. The low number is due to the fatc that they lay just a few eggs every day.

Isn't there a condo association to take care of the problem? That's how it works where I live, and therefore, my plan of "Hey, I don't need heaters" has been working fine. I can't imagine the association here letting the water crew drag the repairs until the next day. Anyway, I hope your h...
