Sheila wrote: Fri May 20, 2022 1:53 pm Any interest in isopods? I have a few varieties I could bring...giant canyon, armadillium vulgare, dairy cows, dwarf white, maybe others.
Listed are the same ones I have. I currently also have Armadillidium Maculatum, very few Armadillidium Klugii, and some Atlantoscia floridana.

Re: Native Plants

I'm looking for native plants that anyone may have to add to my collection. They don't necessarily need to be DMV natives, but I am looking for ones that could potentially be winter hardy. Something that only tolerates south Florida I will pass on but would still be interested in hearing about for ...

Re: March in-person Meeting

If it is not too late I would like one Vallisneria nana.

Also would anyone be interested in some Xiphophorus pygmaeus or some Bristlenose plecos, I can't guarantee that I will actually end up bringing them though.

Re: August Meeting

Hi everyone. Thanks for coming over today. It was a lot of fun hanging out, eating food and talking plants. Can't wait till we can do it again. Allen, Did some poking around and I'm pretty sure the Ludwigia you have is palustris. There are lots of paired flowers on the plants I got and none of them...

Re: August Meeting

I don't have much fishy stuff to bring (my frogbit, dwarf water lettuce, and salvinia turned out to be invested with dreaded utricularia) but I will pick up some food at whole foods! What do we need? I would like the dwarf water lettuce as my tanks are infested with the utricularia anyways (I guess...

Re: August Meeting

I'm pretty sure I will come. Is frogbit too common to bring? I also have many plants that have been growing in a pond but I think there is damselfly larvae in the pond.

I also have many assassin snails.

Re: August Meeting

I still need to decide between this meeting and the Northern Virginia Reptile Expo. If I do come I will probably bring either Spanakopitas or Wontons from Costco. I also happen to have, by coincidence, some emersed Ludwigia repens and another species that is maybe brevipes that hitchhiked into my bo...

Re: August Meeting

I went to the Mid Atlantic Carnivorous Plant Society meeting recently and they mandated masks inside and a socially distanced lunch.
