Lagenandra Meeboldii (Effervescent Stream)

Lagenandra Meeboldii pearls in an effervescent stream of bubbles. What I found most interesting is that the effervescent stream begins under high light conditions (Tek-Light 36" T5-HO x4) and disappears within seconds of the down shift in lighting (2 T5-HOs). As an experiment, I flipped the swi...

HELP w/Elongated Internodes

Although this is not the case with all of my plants, I have found that it is especially the case with my Cambomba. I start with a beautiful, bushy Cambomba... and, no time later, we've got long lengths of st...

Disposal of Fertz & Sceptic Tanks

Greetings Folks,

I am having a 'lively' debate over disposal of a bottle of fertz into a household spetic system (e.g., NPK Solutions or Micros [CSM+B] typical to IE or PPS Systems). I am sure that several of you have the answer... so enlighten us.

Whew! It has been some time since I had the chance to enjoy the hard sciences outside of neurobiology and neuropsychology and I have to say that I am enjoying the chance to get back to a bit of biology and chemistry. As to forum and friends, ah well... ask, be patient, listen (read), and learn... th...
