Recently there was a heated discussion about the Aura blue shrimp. It turns out they do breed true. You just need to make sure you get the real aura blue shrim...

I have the same issue using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on my MacBook Pro. My workaround is to use the "Log in to check your private messages" link instead.

I'm still waiting for the dust to settle on these shrimp. They are listed as "supposedly" neocaridina on shrimp lab, but they have since been tagged as Caridina. The first offerings were sold a while ago, but I can't find folks posting pictures of their shrimp and offspring. You'd think th...

That's it Judi. Thank you! I hope it is Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea', which is supposed to be both undemanding and a good indicator of nitrates in the tank. I like!

This bright green plant grows in my front yard. It pops up in the Spring, dies off in the Summer and comes back in the Fall. I didn't think much of it until I saw a thread a while back on one of the other aquatic plant forums that showed what looked like this plant growing submersed and I lost the t...

Edit: Your 3rd pic looks more like glosso to me.
