Sorry I wasn't able to give you more info before you bought your fish, but wanted to follow up on my P. furcatus/cherry shrimp observations. I removed a suspected shrimp eating Cardinal Tetra from the tank. That left me with these tankmates: rummynose tetras, amano shrimp, and dwarf crays. Now that ...

I will watch the recently added Furcatus in my work tank closely to see if I notice a drop in the number of baby shrimp in the tank. Interestingly, I don't see any right now. Doh! But I do have at least one berried female shrimp. We will see. I've always been suspicious of a lone Caridinal Tetra I h...

Great minds think alike! At the beginning of this month, after much googling and wringing of hands, I splurged on 8 of these crays on Aquabid from Starrsmith. Starrsmith (Crystal) was fantastic btw. I've got them split between 2 tanks currently: 1 tank at home & 1 at work. In my home tank I caug...

I am in Japan this week and will have about half a day in Tokyo before flying back. I am hoping to make it to the Aqua Forest store in Shinjiku. I'll share some pics if I do. Any hard-to-find hardware I should be on the look-out for?
