Re: Custom Cherry Stand Build

Looks fantastic. Now you have me wanting to take that intro furniture class at the Woodworker's Club... Does the poly satin finish you use do a decent job of protecting the wood from water damage?

Asexual genome fusion

Not an article on Morrissey, but one describing a study on grafting and genome fusion. So are we ready for a 2nd tissue culture / biohacking workshop? I am!

Re: Amano Aquasoil Amazonia???

Hey Sherry!

I think the club ran out of its stock. Is it time for a group order?
I know the 2 main US distributors are http://www.adgshop.com/ and http://www.adana-usa.com/
The price of Amazonia doesn't vary much, but shipping can. Check the shipping costs at both before ordering.

Re: Plant ID Help

Thanks everyone! I'll be glad if it isn't the non-native hirsuta. I've got one more collected from NY for ID'ing. I think mosses are more diffcult to ID, but knowing this group, someone will probably know! :) This moss is growing steadily in a 10g with Akadama substrate. It picked up its growth a go...

Re: Plant ID Help

Thanks Cavan! I googled around and found another possible Cardamine candidate. Cardamine hirsuta http://luirig.altervista.org/cpm/thumbnails2.php?search=Cardamine+hirsuta http://luirig.altervista.org/cpm/albums/10a/003796-cardamine-hirsuta.jpg And if I don't like it in my tank, I can throw it on a s...

Plant ID Help

I collected these in NY from a small stream by the road. They were abundant in the area where I found them and assume they are common aquatic plants. The first 2 pics were taken 3 weeks ago: Plant #1 http://www.23hq.com/seiji64/photo/7444176/original Plant #2 http://www.23hq.com/seiji64/photo/744417...

Re: Contribute PLEASE!

Thanks Tim. I went back to add a couple more plants and saw the common name column there and my new entries sorted You all are fast! Thanks for the tip on inserting rows, that was just what I needed. Will use that going forward. I'll also be reaching out shortly for some help Id'ing plants that I lo...

Re: Contribute PLEASE!

I love this! I have been terrible about managing what I have (or had but killed) in my tanks. This will make it much easier to manage. Thanks! I noticed a bunch of plants not listed. I started adding some, but they don't sort alphabetically anymore and I don't trust that I am entering the correct La...
