Re: LED Grow Light - 150 Watt 5,000 Kelvin (400 Watt HPS Rep

The hydroponics and orchid people are still being taken for a ride when it comes to light fixture prices. That will just get worse as more people start "growing" indoors. If they started using aquarium lights to grow they might save some money, increase the demand for our lights, and maybe...

Re: New to me crypts

If you cool off that killer I'd go there just because of the CO2. Otherwise dewittii in mini hex because the GH is the lowest. Put the nurii anyplace, it grows like wendtii.

80 may be a little too warm? Yup, sustained 8O° F is going to be too warm. Most of our plants are from flowing waters, which are actually a little cooler in the tropics than we think. At 80° you kind of put the plant on overdrive and it wears itself out. When they are growing emersed they can take ...

Re: October 2017 meeting

I think Nick already offered Monte Carlo (MC), which hydrocotyle do you have? So I can say sold and identify the species for the next guy.

Re: October 2017 meeting

MC sold I'll look at your DHG to see if it is different from mine. I have HC already.

I think I am still looking for Marsilea sp, Glosso, Hydrocotyle sp, Lilaeopsis sp (other than carolinensis, chinensis, and the one from Christal Kasselmann), Ranalisma rostrata among others.
