ok, i know i saw this somewhere and even though i have no money to spend on anything, since im home i might as well find some info on how to buil one...right? my light is the catalina 6 feet and i didn't now at the time but FYI CATALINA CAN ADD HANGERS TO THE LIGHT FIXTURE. anyhow, anyone has the article? the tread, thanks Very Happy

Damian, all they do is drill a hole and add 4 eye bolts. That is the extent of their Hangers. They are such light fixtures, a simple decorative black chain holds them. Not sure if you can add to them now, might have to take them apart....

you can use conduit pipes and bend them with a conduit pipe, very easy and holds lots of weight. Total cost would run you about $15 for the two pipes, $35 for the bender, but you can return it after using it if you don't plan on keeping it and about $4 in wires to hang.

Worst case if you are extremely concerned about the six feet add a third conduit hanger for the center of the fixture so that you have three points of contact holding up the fixture.
