Oh the dark side is in full effect. I have found myself checking the price of saltwater mix for no good or sane reason.

PVAS's speaker this month (think tomorrow night) is about minature seahorses. I can only be thankful that I will be playing softball in Maryland and will be free of the temptation to even contemplate a proper setup. :)

 Of course if I keep the nerite snails with Amano shrimp will they both reproduce in saltwater?

Is the room getting darker or is that the timer turning off the tank lights. :?

Been there. I actually fraged and distributed corals a little. You think we use alot of light... yikes!

A reef tank with a diverse population of corals & critters is interesting. Gotta say though, a nice planted tank is the most beautiful & serene.

Planted tanks and reef tanks CAN coexist. I'm whittling down my collection
of tanks down to two planted show tanks and one show reef tank with an
add-on frag tank.

Be warned though. If you're a collector - reef tanks will be your doom.
The biodiversity is crazy!
