I was avoiding spending the money but I think it's probably the way to go. OK, so I'm a little slow

Currently researching source for the cylinder and a DIY diffusor/reactor. I need suggestions for sources for good yet not overpriced Regulator, needle valve, and maybe bubble counter.

Thanx for any advice, suggestions, chastisement.

I suggest the JBJ all in one regulator or the Milwaukee all in one. I'm not sure who has the best price right now.

How many aquariums are you going to put on the CO2 system?

I'm going to start with just my 58 cube. I plan on switching to a 75 later and yes multiple tanks in the future.

In that case you should start with this thread.

I am also looking to start using CO2 for my tanks.
I have a 55 and a 3 gallon.
I will also be setting up a brand new 20 Long and maybe a 35.
Any suggestions?

I finally got the Green Algae under control in my 55 thanks to Aaron's Diatom Filter suggestion.

I know this is not a permanent solution but I think it will be OK for until I invest in a UV filter.

I had the green water for so long that I couldn't really see what was going on but the plants and fish are doing great.
Some of the more leafy plants are turning yellow.
I thought this might be because I unhooked my Fizz Factory and not getting any extra CO2.

Glad to hear you got the water all cleared up finally. Have you tried the Do-It-Yourself CO2 in the meantime? It's easy enough to do and more effective than the fizz factory.

Not yet.
Im thinking of just making the jump.
Do you think this is wise or should I start out by practicing with the DIY?

No, making the jump is fine. It's easy enough to setup.
