I'm trying to choose a light for a Fluval Ebi/Flora tank with a glass lid. The tank is part land, part water, with the land starting maybe 3" down from the lid and about 4-5" of water in the bottom portion of the tank.
I have an Aquatop 48 led clip-on but, because the tank has a 3d background and a glass lid, the little screw mechanism for keeping the light on the tank doesn't work all that well. Plants include mosses, bucephalandra, microsword, mini hairgrass, a venus fly trap, orchid, airplants, and one of those star-looking bromeliad things (yes, that's the scientific name).
I believe the width of the tank is 11.9", so I'm looking for something that would either be the right width for legs to sit on the rim of the tank or a gooseneck style that comes with a slimmer/more versatile mounting bracket. I'm not looking to break the bank or blind the tank's inhabitants, but I would like to keep plants growing and well-colored.
Thoughts?

Re: Lighting suggestions
You saw that bit about not breaking the bank, right?
Re: Lighting suggestions
Will that grow plants, or would I be better off with the planted plus?
