Wabi-Kusa Workshop

Post by halak »

GWAPA will do a Wabi-kusa Workshop on May 26th with guest speaker, Bailin Shaw leading the workshop. Dennerle is generously donating 20 shrimp tanks, complete with light and substrate. Florida Aquatic Nurseries will be providing the plants. If you are interested and are a paid member, for $5 you reserved your spot for this workshop, which includes the full setup for you to take home and enjoy after the workshop. Workshop spots will be reserved on a first come first served basis. If you sign up, you'll have to either paypal GWAPA the $5 fee or pay at the April meeting. Please use this thread to sign up and/or ask questions. If we exceed the 20 person limit, anyone may come to watch and learn at the workshop.

When you send your $5 Paypal payment, please type in "Wabi Kusa" in the notes.

I am signing up first, so there are only nineteen spaces left.

Can we sign up, pay, and just pick up the stuff? I don’t think my 3 year old will sit through the demo

Ditto. Weather permitting, I'm planning to be out of town that weekend, but if the weather is miserable I'd really like to have my spot reserved.

The intent of the event is for participants to participate in the workshop, not just grab nice equipment for super cheap. We'd like to reserve the equipment for members who participate in the workshop. Sorry for the confusion.

I would like to participate. How do we PayPal GWAPA? Send via friends and family or goods and services?

Matt, you can paypal $5 to gwapa@gwapa.org, or just bring cash to the April meeting. Thanks
