Had great luck with SilenX in both computers and in a modifified light fixture. There are a couple of others... start looking at computer fans, they are rated for decibels nowadays, and know you get what you pay for - there are reasons some are premium priced. I got fixed speed, be careful of variab...

It’s certainly not my cup of tea…but then it has been years since I’ve liked the kinds of things Amano is championing. :nods: Respect the heck out of the guy for what he's done for the hobby in terms of broadening the appeal and widening the base... not so crazy about his style. Very talented. Extr...

You put an inline valve on it. Since you now have low side control, you won't blow out lines using needle valves inline. It is the same thing I do... mine didn't cost that much though. Google around, 40 bucks for a 3 way splitter seems really expensive. Mine is a little 6 way with plugs for the unus...

Yeah, and.. interesting things happened. :) A real regulator isn't any thicker than what you already have back there. You already know that.... not sure why space is such an issue. It is what, 3" thick front to back, scross the guages and solenoid? And costs $80 or so shipped. http://co2-canist...

Really good at not trying to tinker - in the end, it ain't worth it to me. You are going to spend how many hours, and how much stress, and how...

If this is merely an ASA with no regulation (which is what I think it is) then the full 800+ PSI will be seen by the NV55 (or equivalent) and it won't work well. ASAs are basically dangerous. jim (yes, you can quote me) I thought the Empire ASA's had an output pressure.... is that actually controll...

I think you could force it to work, with some diligence and making sure the tank are never allowed to actually run low. <--- I would get it to run low and do the EOTD. I'm pathetically lazy that way, yes I am! Typical inline setup might not work because of the PSI between it and the regulator itself...

Understand where you are coming from - honestly though, unless you are using improper equipment, I don't think it can really happen. Again, ceramic disk diffusors require far more PSI than any check valve I've ever personally heard of (That we would/could use anyhow) and they don't blow out tubing. ...

Are you sure it's the needle valve? Do you use an inline check valve, it so the CRP (cracking pressure) may be too high. I paid $20 for this little plastic piece to have a CRP of 0.017 but it's great and will not create problems at low bubble per second rates. I've never heard of a check valve caus...

I have the same issue using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on my MacBook Pro. My workaround is to use the "Log in to check your private messages" link instead. Doug I have to do that one on my Blackberry... always thought it was secuirty software related, never thought about it being a forum ...
