You put an inline valve on it. Since you now have low side control, you won't blow out lines using needle valves inline. It is the same thing I do... mine didn't cost that much though. If this is merely an ASA with no regulation (which is what I think it is) then the full 800+ PSI will be seen by the NV55 (or equivalent) and it won't work well. Are you sure it's the needle valve? Do you use an inline check valve, it so the CRP (cracking pressure) may be too high.
