Lost a shrimp, but the formosa were ok.

Perhaps I've been too nice to my formosa. I've been crushing the flake food into microscopic crumbs in the thought that a couple of regular size flakes would sink before they got to it.

Guess I'll simply get some new batteries...

What/how do you folks do to feed tiny fish when you're away? I'm about to leave for a week.

I'm tempted to toss in a weekend feeding tab, but I suspect it would only feed the shrimp and snails.

For my larger tank, I hook up an autofeeder and try to underfeed.

I've got 7 in mine, too. The floating plants are doing great under all that light. My roooted plants are scraping by at best. The glosso is starting to spread. The green algae is having a field day. (No, I didn't count the algae as one of the species).

Is it an Eheim 2213? Mine's been burping ever since I cleaned it out 2 months ago.
