Penneywort does it alot. Pretty common with many stem plants but to a lesser degree.

mosses in discus temps - 82?

Has anybody had experience growing any of the mosses in 82 to 84 degree temps? I understand java moss is most likely to succeed, but haven't tried it.

They do seem to come and go, and I never see an response from the fish. Maybe it's no big deal. Will keep you updated.

pimples on discus

I have some high-quality discus that for some reason occasionally get small "whitehead" type pimples on their sides and/or near the tail.

Any ideas??

Thanks Archie!! Your comments got me going on some further research...found a great site dealing with S. vortens. Might be I wasn't using enough metronidazole and not often enough. I read that 250mg/10g/8hours with 25% daily water changes for at least three days is the ticket...maybe 5 or 6 days to ...
