Our May meeting speaker will be Nancy Rybicki, from the US Geological Survey, who is an expert in Potomac River submersed aquatic vegetation. She is going to discuss the ecology, diversity, history, and current distribution of aquatic plants in the Potomac region. This is your opportunity to learn about native aquatic plants, as well as, many issues affect our local Potomac ecosystem. More information about Nancy's Potomac project can be found here.
As usual, we will conduct our mini-auction. Members and non-members are welcome!
We hope to see you there!
